How much does a locksmith cost?
It depends on the job. As a guide, an emergency lockout is from £90 and a standard lock change, supplied and fitted, is £120. The exact cost is agreed with you before any work starts.
Is there a shop I can visit?
No — MCLocksmiths is a mobile locksmith, so Morgan comes to your home or premises. He is based in Canterbury and works across Kent.
My uPVC door won’t lock. Can it be fixed?
Usually, yes. Common causes are a worn gearbox or a door that has dropped out of line. Morgan can adjust the door or replace the gearbox or the full multipoint mechanism. A gearbox replacement costs approx. £190–£220.
My key has snapped in the lock. What should I do?
Try not to push the broken piece further in or keep using the lock. Snapped or broken key removal is from £90, and Morgan can replace the lock if it has been damaged.
